Welcome to PraiseFlix (the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by PraiseFlix (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, or smart TV applications, you (“the user”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By using the Service, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, and representations set forth in these Terms.

2. Description of Service & Account Tiers

We provide a digital streaming service delivering faith-based and family-friendly television channels, ministries, and on-demand movies.

  • The Free Zone: We offer a selection of live channels and on-demand movies completely free of charge. Access to the Free Zone requires no account creation or payment information. We reserve the right to modify, rotate, or remove free content at any time without notice.
  • Premium Upgrade Plan: Users may choose to create an account and pay a recurring subscription fee to unlock premium networks (including but not limited to Pure Flix, TBN, Hallmark+, Dove Channel, and the Joel Osteen Network) and advanced features like Cloud DVR.

3. Subscription Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds

  • Billing: By signing up for our Premium Plan, you authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge a recurring monthly or annual subscription fee to your designated payment method.
  • No-Contract Cancellation: You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain premium access until the end of your current billing cycle, after which your account will automatically downgrade to the Free Zone.
  • Refunds: Except where required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds or credits for partial-month subscription periods.

4. Unlimited Cloud DVR Feature

Our Premium Plan includes access to an unlimited Cloud DVR feature.

  • This feature is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use to record live broadcasts for time-shifted viewing.
  • We reserve the right to establish storage duration limits (e.g., how long a recording is kept before automatic deletion) or to remove content if required to comply with licensing agreements or legal obligations.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Restrictions

  • Personal Use Only: All content provided through the Service—including movies, live channels, text, logos, graphics, and software—is the property of our platform or our licensed content partners (such as TBN, Pure Flix, etc.) and is protected by copyright laws. Content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial, residential viewing only.
  • Prohibited Uses: You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit the content for public viewing or commercial gain. You may not bypass, modify, or circumvent any digital rights management (DRM) or geo-restriction technologies used on the Service.

6. User Conduct and Account Security

If you create an account for our Premium Tier, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Service or to attempt to interfere with our web infrastructure.

7. Limitation of Liability & “As Is” Warranty

The Service and all content associated with it are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that your streaming experience will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or free from buffering due to internet connectivity speeds or device variations.

In no event shall our platform, its officers, directors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time to reflect updates to our service offerings, legal requirements, or platform updates. We will notify premium users of any material changes via email or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio and the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
